While this is happening, many of the US’s established towns and cities need to cope with outdated infrastructure like old sewer and water lines or failing electrical systems.

The growth in communities spell an increased demand for environmental engineers. They are in charge of overseeing renovations and new construction, while they watch over the safety of the residents and the preservation of natural resources. With stricter laws and regulations on the books, many big corporations and developers employ environmental engineers as they take a more proactive and environment-friendly approach to their business. IT professionals who specialize in installation and networking will stay on demand as businesses continue to rely on their services.

Distributed work. Most of today’s employees and workers spend their time at different locations or client organizations. “Hot desking”, the process where workers report at different workstations during the start of their shift instead of having their own cubicle or desk, is becoming a trend. Due to that, more workers relocate to homes that are far from the city, creating a demand for infrastructure development and home construction.
