Don’t get left behind
In this day and age where technology plays a big part in any industry, employers are starting to recognize the importance of their employees AND prospective employees being tech savvy. Which is why, if your’re in the market for a new job, whether for a full time position, part time, contractual or project-based work, it might profit you to make a professional profile at LinkedIn.
LinkedIn is much like a social networking site, only more professional and career-oriented. It is not like a regular job hunting website; LinkedIn relies heavily on the professional networking aspect, particularly in its recommendation / referral system in order for employers to find suitable candidates for jobs and for job seekers to be found by recruiters in their respective industries.
