Guide to Creating a Cover Letter
by: Larla

A cover letter creates a first impression on your application. It has to make the employer think that you would be the perfect person for the job and that they would be entice to view your full resume after reading the letter.
First, if you know the name of the person in charge for the application, you can put their full name instead of generic greetings (To whom it may concern, Dear Sir/ Madame).
Then, introduce yourself, what position you are applying for and where you saw the job advertisement.
You can put your years of experience in the field you are applying for and the relevant skills you have that you think will be very useful to the position applied and to the company as well. It does not need to showcase all your experiences as that would be in your resume attached. It just needs to be brief and concise.
Next, thank them for their time in reviewing your application and make sure that you indicate your contact details so they can easily get in touch with you.
Lastly, review your cover letter to ensure that it is free of typos and grammar errors.
Remember, a cover letter is very important as it would show the employers how well you can present yourself.
